Among other things, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok on Thursday that Ukraine's invasion of Kursk was aimed at slowing down the Russian advance towards Donbass, but it failed, as Kiev simply weakened its forces on the rest of the front.
Putin later explained that by sending large and well-trained units to Russia, Ukraine had weakened itself and allowed Russia to accelerate its offensive in eastern Ukraine.
The Russian president later jokingly mentioned that he would be happy if Kamala Harris won the US presidential election.
