The Csukás Meserádió of the public media had a successful launch, attracting thousands of listeners on the first day.

Csukás Meserádió proved already in the first days that there is a significant demand for quality content based on fairy tales, which connect generations and strengthen family ties.

The radio's application was downloaded by about five thousand people on iOS and Android platforms in just 24 hours, and the mediaklikk.hu/csukas subpage was visited by about 20 thousand visitors in three days.

According to data from Antenna Hungária, on the day the radio was launched, the most popular time slot was Sunday lunch and rest time, and on weekdays, most people listened to the channel during the evening story time before going to bed, especially between 8 and 9 p.m.

Csilla Gévai, the editor-in-chief of the radio, said in the M1 current affairs channel's Ma reglegg program: Csukás Meserádió was started as a gap-filling initiative, which simultaneously provides an opportunity for fabulous education and family moments spent together.

"The fairy tale is part of our whole life, and the fairy tale becomes really important in the lives of children when they become adults," said Gyula Bodrogi, an actor who was awarded the title of Actor of the Nation, Kossuth and two-time Jászai Mari award-winning actor, worthy and excellent artist, a perpetual member of the Society of Immortals. To this day, his name is intertwined with the character of Süsü, including that of Csukás Meserádió, since Süsü, the dragon, appears in the radio's logo and signal as a tribute to the heritage of the namesake.

The special feature of the radio is that it also selects stories from the MTVA Archive, so that older people can share their own childhood memories with their children and grandchildren.

Gubik Petra Junior Prima, Petőfi Zenei and Honthy Hanna prize-winning performer, the channel voice of the radio, also highlighted as a guest of M1: the repertoire of the public media's new online radio is extremely diverse, since in addition to fairy tales, you can also hear nursery rhymes, songs, skill-building and educational materials.

"The most important thing is to make people aware of the important role of listening to fairy tales in children's development. By listening to stories, the imagination increases, the vocabulary is enriched and new knowledge can be acquired"

- emphasized the speaker.

The radio channel named after the poet and writer István Csukás, who was awarded the title of Artist of the Nation and was awarded the title of Kossuth and two-time József Attila Prize, was launched on September 1 - it was recalled in the announcement that Csukás Meserádió not only provides a listening experience, but also actively encourages children's imagination development, which is supported by a tender until September 30. Details can be found on the radio's Media Click page.

Csukás Meserádió can be listened to on the www.csukasmeseradio.hu , and is also available via the free downloadable application in the iOS and Google Play stores.
