Bypassing the new Capital Assembly, Gergely Karácsony is trying to get Ferenc Gyurcsány's people into well-paying positions in the capital again.

The mayor announced a few days ago that tenders were being issued to fill the board positions of companies in the capital, but it soon became clear that all this was once again just a "show bakery".

it was clear from the application material that Karácsony is basically satisfied with the current leaders, and does not insist on new people, or even real professionals.

According to Metropol's report, Karácsony launched an open tender for the members of the board and supervisory board of the economic associations of the Capital City Municipality, for the company managers, which has never been seen anywhere before.

- In practice, he is looking for new managers, but there will only be a change if "better ones than the current ones apply". The portal wrote that it is also interesting to decide who is better: the mayor only makes a proposal if, based on the application, he is convinced that there is a better company manager than the current one, which seems much more like an attempt to transfer power than a search for real professionals .

Gergely Karácsony is satisfied with the capital's company managers (executives, CEOs), to varying degrees, but basically... The mayor encourages all current company managers to submit their applications

– reads the tender announcement, meaning that despite appearances, Karácsony would not break with Ferenc Gyurcsány's people, rather it seems that the mayor would save the DK background power with a tricky, apparently correct tender announcement even before the Metropolitan Assembly in October. The latter is important because Karácsony and his allies will not have a majority in the Capital Assembly, and in addition, their political hinterland, the Gyurcsánys and the DK, has also weakened.

Of course, Karácsony did not consult with the new members of the General Assembly about the tender that has just been announced and will be held by the end of September, but at the same time, based on his posts, he sat down with the DK faction several times in the past few days.

Dávid Vitézy also spoke about this as he said, Gergely Karácsony did not negotiate with them regarding the tender. - There is only evidence of one negotiation, Gergely Karácsony negotiated with the Democratic Coalition several times in the past week. It appears that the applications must be submitted on September 25 in the municipal cycle that is just ending. The signs point to the fact that the MSZP-DK still wants to bypass the new general assembly and conduct a mock tender, using its majority mandate, Dávid Vitézy pointed out, then added:

the mayor became discredited by saying in the call for tenders: he is satisfied with the work of the current company managers and supports their renewal.
