We will pinch the ears of those who work against the country. Whether they are politicians, sponsors or lobbyists of the new or the old left, the politician wrote on his social media page.

Fidesz nominates Csaba Dömötör to replace Balázs Győrffy as a member of the European Parliament, Fidesz announced on its Facebook page As written, Csaba Dömötör worked as the parliamentary secretary of the Prime Minister's Cabinet Office for the past 9 years, and as a member of parliament since 2018.

Prior to his government assignment, he assisted the work of the Fidesz delegation in Brussels for several years. At the beginning of his political career, he headed the foreign affairs cabinet of Fidelitas, and was also president of the youth organization of the European People's Party for two years.

He completed his studies at Corvinus University in Budapest, majoring in international studies.

Csaba Dömötör also confirmed the news on his website. As he wrote, he feels honored by the new assignment.

"Most of the political battles affecting Hungary's future take place in Brussels, so there is an even greater need for strong representation of national interests. I want to strengthen the national voice in an institution where many people would like to lower this voice"

said the politician.

He emphasized: "those who respect our patriotism and respect Hungary can count on our alliance. But those who work against the country, we will pinch them on the ears. Whether they are politicians, sponsors or lobbyists of the new or old left.

He indicated that before the years of government and parliament, he worked for several years in the Fidesz delegation in Brussels, then as a staff member. This way, the task will not be unfamiliar, just like the place.

"The station changes, but the destination is the same. A Hungary that preserves its sovereignty and security, stands up for itself, and grows in its economy"

Dömötör wrote.

We have been informed that the personal decision is not independent of the fact that, with the Tisza Party's victory, the European Parliament has also become a prominent debate area in addition to the Hungarian Parliament.
