Just a few days ago, we announced that a high school student from Miskolc had won first place at the International Informatics Student Olympiad, and the next announcement is already here, the Hungarian delegation returned home from the International Artificial Intelligence Student Olympiad in Saudi Arabia with four medals (one gold, two silver, one bronze).

Hungarian successes
The Hungarian student Olympians prepared for the competition in the talent management program of the Neumann Company, in cooperation with the Faculty of Informatics of ELTE. The Hungarian student Olympians were selected by the trainers based on their results in the rapid selection competition of the preparatory camp organized at ELTE IK.
At the IAIO 2024, all Hungarian student Olympians won medals:
Benedek Labancz, 12th grade student of János Bolyai High School in Kecskemét, gold medal,
Christ Miranda Anna, 12th grader of Budapesti Fazekas Mihály Gyakorló Elementary School and High School
and Balázs Szilágyi, 11-year-old silver medal from Veres Péter High School in Békásmegyeri,
Vince Ungár, a 10-year-old from Péter Veres High School in Békásmegyeri, won a bronze medal as the youngest member of the delegation.
The team leader was László Gulyás, vice president of the Neumann Society and associate professor of the Department of Artificial Intelligence at ELTE IK, and the deputy team leader was Tamás Takács, a doctoral student at ELTE.
