Accompanied by a gentle smile, the prime minister also sent a message to his political opponents during Tuesday morning's flood information, where it was also revealed that the flood wave will peak at Mohács today and then leave the country.

After taking part in the meeting of the operational team for flood protection, the Prime Minister held a press conference at the National Emergency Center, according to which public health tasks will come into focus after flood protection.

In the upper section of the Danube, the river recedes quickly, on Monday it was necessary to defend a section of 510 kilometers, 200 kilometers shorter than on Sunday.

Viktor Orbán emphasized that we hope to escort the flood out of the country at Mohács on Tuesday, so the operational team will also work in a reduced form from Wednesday. According to his information, compared to Monday's 4,458, only 1,847 people are participating in the defense.

Viktor Orbán indicated: the expected precipitation this week will not affect the course of the price wave, so we have every reason to hope that the price will not break through at any point of the dam system.

At the end of the morning event, journalists asked Viktor Orbán questions.

"I go with the water too. I tell my opponents, I will turn back at the border"

- the prime minister answered whether he would go to Mohács again on Tuesday.
