Márton Tompos, the president of Momentum, announced on social media that he submitted a referendum question regarding the fact that the Olympics cannot be held in Hungary without consulting the people.

We would like to put an end to the issue of organizing the Olympics once and for all. We want, if this country wants to submit any Olympic bid, then a referendum should be held first. This is a level decision that we have to make together

video shared on Facebook and highlights that, in his opinion, "as long as there is not an adequate number of doctors and teachers in the country, there is not adequate drinking water everywhere, as long as we have to maintain everyday life with Chinese loans, it is completely wrong to dream of hosting the Olympics."
