A poll conducted after the second assassination attempt against Donald Trump found that more than a quarter of Democrats believe the country would have been better off if the assassins had succeeded. This is what the left calls democracy…
The Neapolitan News Service poll of 1,000 registered voters included the following question: "While it's always difficult to wish ill on another person, would America be better off if Donald Trump had been killed last weekend?"
Only 69 percent of respondents answered no. Seventeen percent answered yes, while 14 percent said they were "not sure" of their answer, the Modernity news portal points out .
According to the survey, 92 percent of Republicans agree that the country would be worse off if Trump were assassinated, but that raises the question of why 8 percent of Republicans think otherwise. However, what is even more shocking is that
28 percent of Democrats, or more than one in four respondents, said killing Trump would have helped the country.
Another quarter said they were not sure.
The survey also found that 82 percent of Democrats think Trump poses a "serious threat to democracy," and only 8 percent disagree.
At the same time, Scott Rasmussen, president of RMG Research, commented on the survey that
"It is difficult to imagine a greater threat to democracy than the expression of a desire to assassinate a political opponent".
