A man attacked children attending daycare in Zurich on Tuesday, injuring three, the Swiss police said. One of the children suffered serious and two suffered moderate injuries.

According to the information, the perpetrator was arrested. The attack took place shortly after lunchtime in the northern quarter of the city, Oerlikon.

According to the police, the population is no longer in danger.

The ZürichToday news portal reported on a large-scale police operation at the daycare center. An eyewitness said that one of the employees of the daycare managed to restrain the perpetrator and push him to the ground.

the perpetrator is a 23-year-old Chinese citizen, the three wounded boys are all five years old.
