On Friday, the Hungarian national football team played a 1-1 draw at home with the Dutch team in the third round of the Nations League, thus moving up to third place in the group.

The students of national team captain Marco Rossi had little more than 25 percent of the ball in the entire match, but in the 32nd minute, at the end of a nice attack, Sallai Roland scored. In the continuation, even more pressure was put on the Hungarian goal, so the Dutch, who were European semi-finalists in the summer, equalized with Denzel Dumfries' header despite the fact that they were already playing football with a man disadvantage due to the sending off of Dirk van Dijk.

The national team - which also introduced a newcomer in the person of Dániel Gera - did not lose to the Netherlands for the first time after forty years and nine defeats in a row.

On Monday, the Hungarians will be the guests of Bosnia-Herzegovina in Zenica.
