Márton Nagy presented an important graph: this is how we can reach the minimum wage of one thousand euros and the average salary of one million forints by 2028.
"Yes, we would like the purchasing power of salaries to increase, but a wage increase that is not in line with economic growth is unthinkable"
- said the Minister of National Economy at the presentation of the Responsible Employer of the Year award.
Based on the graph based on KSH data and NGM estimates, the minimum wage would practically double within a few years, and it could actually reach one thousand euros by 2028, while the average gross salary is close to one million forints, and will even exceed it by 2029.
