The state secretary responsible for national policy has passed away.
"The loyal soldier of Hungarian national politics has passed away. God be with you, Árpád!" - wrote Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén in his Facebook post on Thursday, in which he also published a joint photo with Árpád János Potápi.

Árpád János Potápi was born in Bonyhád on March 28, 1967. The politician has been a parliamentary representative of the Fidesz – Hungarian Civic Alliance since June 18, 1998, the mayor of Bonyhád between 2002 and 2014, and the state secretary of the Prime Minister's Office responsible for national policy since 2014.
