Free Europe wrote that, according to their information, the Parliament can vote on whether to support the NATO accession of Finland and Sweden on December 7. Both opposition and government sources confirmed the date to the paper. December 7 will be the last parliamentary session of this year.

Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó previously said that there was no time to put the membership issue on the agenda due to the negotiation of legislative drafts submitted in favor of Brussels. Turkey has not yet voted on the accession of the two northern countries, but Ankara does not plan to discuss the issue much due to diplomatic disputes.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called on to complete the ratification of Sweden and Finland's NATO accession in their national parliaments as soon as possible.
