Hungarian Greek Catholic Metropolitan Fülöp Kocsis made a short recording with the head of the church.
– I am telling you, Hungarian Greek Catholics, that you are close to me and I pray for you, and you pray for me! God bless you! Pope Francis sent a message to the Hungarian faithful in a short video shared by Fülöp Kocsis on his social media page. The Hungarian Greek Catholic Metropolitan is participating in this year's Synod of Bishops in the Vatican, and was able to make the recording.
At the beginning of October, Father Fülöp surprised the head of the Catholic Church with a bottle of peach brandy from Szabolcs on the occasion of his name day.
"On his name day, Pope Francis received Szabolcs peach brandy as a gift. This is written on the glass in Italian: All things benefit those who love God. (Romans 8:28)"
- he wrote in his post, including some photos of the greeting.
It is also clear from these that he handed over a 44 percent brandy.
