László Szacsvay, the Jászai Mari Award-winning actor and lifelong member of the Society of the Immortals, was born on October 27, 1947 in Budapest.
We saw the excellent character actor in films such as Te rongyos élt, Linda, The Banana Peel, Zimmer Feri, Presszó, But who are the Lumnitzer sisters? or Kossuthkifli. We could see and enjoy the characteristic figure, voice and wry humor of the founding member of the József Katona Theater in the theater and on television, and his art was recognized with countless awards.
One of the great tragedies of his life occurred when, in 2015, his wife - under unclear circumstances - fell from the fourth floor, which he miraculously survived. Photographer Claudia Csicsay suffered serious injuries, was in hospital for a long time, and was finally nursed by László Szacsvay at home, until his wife's death last year.
After he fell out of the fourth, I got him back on his feet, taught him to walk again, and then cancer came and took him away in two months

Escape of two lonely souls

László Szacsvay fought a hernia, cancer, and survived a thrombosis, but last year we saw him again in the cinema: Some Birds is about the friendship of an old man and a seventeen-year-old girl. According to the story, Béla is sent to a nursing home by his son after an accident, which the old man experiences as if the whole world had conspired against him. He sees the way out in the escape, in which his companion is the other lonely soul, 17-year-old Zoé, who is also not in the home for fun: she works there as a punishment. Whether the great escape will be successful will be revealed in the movie Some Birds.
