The accounting of the campaign funds is delayed because it turned out that the person who handled it was not an accountant - Péter Márki-Zay talked about this in an interview. For weeks, there has been an internal debate about how and what Péter Márki-Zay spent more than HUF 3 billion. According to the latest explanation, there is no settlement yet because the person in charge of financial affairs was not even an accountant, reported M1 News.

The person Péter Márki-Zay thought was his accountant turned out not to be. Moreover, according to his claim, he does not even have a financial education. The former prime ministerial candidate of the left spoke about this on a video sharing portal. With this, he explained why he had not yet accounted for the campaign funds.

A few days ago, Péter Márki-Zay already hinted on ATV that they had problems with the accounting of campaign funds.

The former Prime Minister candidate of the left has been explaining himself for weeks about the campaign money. However, he would have something to account for: according to his previous summaries, they received more than HUF 3 billion in the period before the election. The left-wing parties also want to know how much of this is left. One of Péter Márki-Zay's most important confidants, Zoltán Kész, publicly demanded in mid-May that the subsidies be accounted for.

Péter Márki-Zay said several times: There is no need to worry, there will be a settlement. However, no significant progress was made.

Márki-Zay accuses the person responsible for the fate of the campaign funds. According to the former prime ministerial candidate of the left, a series of attacks driven by business interests is taking place against him.

But it wasn't just campaign money that caused tension between the left-wing parties in recent months.

Several people sharply criticized the mayor of Hódmezővásárhely for his statements. Ferenc Gyurcsány, for example, clearly blamed him for the election failure.

The former candidate for Prime Minister of the left has continuously attacked the utility reduction during the campaign and since then.

But according to him, there is no need for an extra profit tax or a gas price cap either. And in his latest interview, he said: he will represent the values of Brussels in his movement and in his new party, even if they are harmful.

However, it may happen that not all of your allies agree with this. The Mandiner wrote that Péter Márki-Zay would be replaced.

In spite of everything, he was unanimously elected president again at the renewal congress of the Everybody's Hungary Movement on Saturday.

I guess they did it like the one-time farmer whose grapes were killed by the ice. He began to cut out the capitals in anger, saying: Well, let's see, God, what the two of us are going to do!
