The series of attention-grabbing actions of young German climate protection activists continued. Climate activists from the group "Utolsó generáció" in Hamburg and Düsseldorf glued their hands to the runway of the local airport with a mixture of concrete and epoxy resin in a bold protest action on Thursday. Mixing industrial adhesive and concrete was not a good idea.

Extremist activists protested the authorities' inaction on climate change, symbolically sacrificing their own hands to express their outrage. Their action caused severe delays and chaos. It has since emerged that the activists' protest was not so much symbolic as it turned out that

only amputation can free the activists from the glue used in the construction industry.

A similar case had already happened in Belrin, and those activists were lucky, as no amputation took place.

The glue action was not universally liked by social media either, as one user put it: “Dear kids, there are other ways to protest and it's much more humane to ourselves and the world.

The best way to show your suffering is to plant 10 trees every day!”.
