According to the overwhelming majority of votes, the title "Magyar note of the year 2024" can be held by the Hungarian note "Far away is a small village".
The final result was announced on October 29, at the Dankó Klub concert in Kiskunmajsa, where the ten songs with the most votes were performed live with the participation of four excellent performers.
"The voting for the Hungarian note of the year was also successfully concluded this year. During the two rounds of voting, several thousand people again voted for their favorite notes. With our promotion, we were able to appeal to music lovers who were active last year as well as new ones, so we can proudly say that the "Dankó family" is constantly growing, as is the number of favorites. Compared to the previous year, there are five new Hungarian songs among this year's ten most voted songs," said Gábor Eredics, the channel director of László Tőkéczki's Dankó Rádió, evaluating the success of the initiative.
It is interesting that last year's winning piece, Akácos út, did not even make it into the top ten this year. He finished in second place last year and this year as well. The song A vén gygány by Tibor Kalmár, while the song Van egy ház a Tisza-parton took third place. Among the top ten songs, the jackal makes a nest on the maidenhair tree, As I love you, I don't know where I messed up my life, Listen, gypsies, I inherited the heart of a dove from my mother, Never scold me and A small house there is also a note called on top of the hill.
As a thank you for the activity of loyal listeners, the channel rewards them with valuable prizes. Valuable prizes were also drawn among the voters this year: in addition to numerous Dankó Rádió gift packages, the winners can participate in this year's Dankó Gala. The winner of the main prize became richer with a domestic hotel voucher worth HUF 250,000. The concert was broadcast live by Dankó Rádió, and those who missed it can listen to the TOP 30 list again on Sunday, November 3, from 12:40 p.m. in the program A note for a good lunch.
