The fact that the nanny service, which is unique in the world, started 109 years ago also proves the family-centric thinking of the Hungarian people. The nanny service also contributes to the success of the Hungarian family policy, so it is important to strengthen it - it was said at the presentation of the film A nanny service hungarikum.
Bence Rétvári, the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior, highlighted at a presentation organized by the Mária Kopp Institute for Population and Families (KINCS) and the Professional Association of Hungarian Women's Defenders (MVSZSZ) that the Hungarian family policy is successful because "it is not based on one recipe" , but on every life situation tries to give an answer.
The Secretary of State spoke about that
the number of births in the European Union is decreasing, and many countries want to fill the gap with immigration, but Hungary "believes in its own citizens".
Success can be achieved with this, because since 2010, Hungary has "surpassed 21 European countries in terms of the total fertility rate, in the willingness to have children," he added.
Zsófia Koncz, the State Secretary responsible for families at the Ministry of Culture and Innovation, stated that families can currently choose from around 30 types of measures, what kind of help they need.
The state secretary touched on the fact that families are also at the center of the new economic action plan, and that many points of the national consultation also affect the situation of families. For example, they are also asking about doubling the family tax allowance.
The fact that the nanny service, which is unique in the world, started 109 years ago also proves the family-centric thinking of the Hungarian people
Zsófia Koncz pointed out.
Tünde Főrész, the president of KINCS, said that the organization has been a cooperating partner of MVSZSZ since 2020, and they have already implemented several projects and researches together.
Their latest survey revealed that Hungarians know and recognize well, and value the work of custodians, said the president of KINCS.
