The national fund-raising campaign called "Young people for families with small children" will start soon. Young volunteers from all over the country are taking part, and they will encourage customers to help. 

We Hungarians can count on each other, and this is especially important during the Advent and Christmas season - emphasized Zsófia Koncz at the press conference of the national fund-raising campaign called "Young people for families with small children". The Secretary of State responsible for families of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation (KIM) also said that the National Association of Large Families (NOE), the CBA and the Príma store network are organizing the joint action for the ninth time.

According to the state secretary, the program is special because young volunteers from all over the country participate in it, and they will encourage customers to help.

The help is good not only for the person who receives it, but also for the customers and the volunteers

Zsófia Koncz remarked.

Since 2010, they have been working to ensure that Hungary has a family-friendly government, and such an action will help draw attention to Hungarian families, emphasized the state secretary.

We are constantly working to expand family subsidies, we want to double the family tax allowance

he said. He then added: he encourages everyone to confirm this intention of the Hungarian government in the national consultation.

– Over two weekends – November 8-10, 2024. and 15–17. between - the program is advertised in almost thirty CBA and Príma stores across the country,

in which young volunteers ask customers to, if they can, put non-perishable food in their shopping baskets, which they offer to large families in need - explained Attila Fodor, CBA's communications director, about the details of the action.

The program is becoming more and more successful every year, last year almost eight tons of food donations were collected

- he reminded, noting that he is confident that with social cooperation, this amount will be exceeded this year.

Herbert Gábor, president of the National Association of Large Families, said: the experience of the past years shows that Hungarians are generous.
