is organizing a free family experience day on November 16, the World Day of Premature Babies, in the Kölyökpark Playhouse of the Mammut shopping center.
For the seventh time, KORE is organizing its free Family Experience Day program in Budapest for families affected by premature birth, the association said in a statement sent to MTI on Tuesday.
As they wrote, every year KORE launches a number of programs with which they want to help children affected by premature birth, their family members or health institutions. In addition to financial or material support, programs are also organized that provide the affected families with the opportunity to relax and have fun.
November is traditionally about programs related to World Premature Birth Day in the life of the association. During the family experience day on November 16, several activities and programs are waiting for the participants, including face painting, glitter tattooing and a crochet show. The latter is one of the priority grants of the association, which is distributed primarily to premature birth classes.
With its eight tentacles reminiscent of the umbilical cord, the polyp of premature babies, i.e. the umbilical cord, can give babies a sense of security from the first day.
By grasping it, the baby calms down and does not grab the tubes or sensors, the statement emphasized, adding that the hand-made korips from baby-friendly materials are the first and most important friends of premature babies.
"For years, we have been working to bring families affected by premature birth together on our free family days and to provide them with the opportunity to relax, have fun, and, if necessary, have the opportunity to talk with their peers"
Zsuzsá Földvári Nagy, founder and president of the National Association for Premature Babies, is quoted in the announcement.
Participation in the event is free, but pre-registration is required. Those interested can send applications eloreg@koraszulott.com
