A bill on curbing internet aggression was submitted to the Parliament's Justice Committee, which would punish aggressive commenting with prison terms. According to the proposal, a person who threatens the death or torture of another person in a post would face a prison sentence of one year.

According to the proposal, a misdemeanor can be punished with imprisonment of up to one year for "whoever uses or publishes in a public comment an expression, representation or image and audio recording that can be identified as an intent to commit a punishable act of violence, death or particular cruelty against a person or persons" or expresses a wish" . – writes Telex .

At the same time, if someone does this for informative, informative, educational, scientific or artistic purposes, then he cannot be punished, provided that his action is not suitable for instilling fear, and just liking such comments is also not a problem.

According to the proposal, if an internet press product provides the opportunity to comment, it is also obliged to create regulations and apply a solution for dealing with illegal or harmful comments.

According to the proposal, the law would enter into force on January 1, 2025.
