Those working in child protection expect a public apology from Péter Magyar for his poor behavior, as their field of expertise cannot be the subject of a political show.
Child rearing and child protection are not a political show, wrote the Secretary of State responsible for care policy of the Ministry of the Interior in a letter to Péter Magyar, President of the Tisza Party and Member of the European Parliament "for the protection of children", published on his Facebook page on Saturday.
Attila Fülöp called it unacceptable that the president of the Tisza Party mentions inhuman conditions in the Miskolc institution he visited, which was cleaned and tidy.
The state secretary wrote: it seems that Péter Magyar was not socialized in child protection, "because our foster children are cultured, they respect each other, they respect their community".
According to Attila Fílöp
the opposition politician is not aware of the function and operating system of the visited institution. He mentions escapes, while the reception home is an open institution, not a guarded facility closed with bars.
In recent years, no one has been arrested from the institution for drug trafficking or forced prostitution, he emphasized.
Péter Magyar's claims insult his colleagues who practice their profession there
he emphasized.
The letter states that the operation of the health, education and social institution system is the responsibility of the Member States. As a result, the visits to these institutions do not help Péter Magyar's work in the European Parliament
further "representative visits" will not be required or provided in the future
he announced.
He said that it is clear from Péter Magyar's statements that he does not want to help. The state secretary demanded that the opposition politician should do no harm.
"We expect you to publicly apologize to my colleagues who were offended in the institution for your inferior behavior"
- wrote Attila Fülöp, who emphasized that they were unfamiliar with the "aggression, vulgarity, and inferior style" represented by Péter Magyar .
