Yes, Budapest can be one of the candidates for 2036, but several conditions must be met until then. As long as the IOC does not ask the IOC and Budapest to organize it, and at the same time they do not state that everything is given for the Budapest Olympics, there is no point in pestering the population with this question.

If the Constitutional Court accepts the MOB's submission, it does not mean that the Olympics cannot be held in Budapest in 2036. Just so that there won't be a referendum on it now. The Hungarian Olympic Committee is waiting for a precise report on the possibility of the Budapest Olympics.
