Dénes Orosz will arrive in Hungarian cinemas on December 12. How could I live without you? is a large-scale romantic comedy based on Ferenc Demjén's life work.

Under the supervision of the producer Attila Kirády and based on the script by Anett Kormos and Krisztina Goda, the work on the film began in 2020, and it was based on the life work of Ferenc Demjén, recalls the National Film Institute's announcement on Tuesday.

It was an important aspect of the cast selection that the chosen ones could also sing, because in the film the Demjén songs are performed by the actors themselves.

The film will feature Franciska Törőcsik, Márk Ember, Marcell Kirády, Luca Márkus, Peti Marics, Sára Varga-Járó, Bence Brasch, as well as Zoltán Seress, Anna Györgyi, Balázs Medveczky, Harmat Kovács, Anna Markó-Valentyik, Balázs Szántó and Veronika Barta. .

The filming was preceded by several months of intensive preparation, which, in addition to the professional learning of Demjén's songs, also consisted of numerous dance rehearsals. Filming took place in two stages: the parts set in the present day were recorded in Budapest in December 2023, while the 1994 storyline was recorded this summer in the capital and in several Balaton settlements.

Cinematographer Tamás Babos is responsible for the visual world of the film, while Ferenc Demjén's team took care of the music. The visual designer was Gábor Valcz, the costume designer was Tünde Kemenesi, and the choreographer was Lajos Péter Turi.
