Hungarians consider it outrageous that Brussels is punishing our country with a penalty of one million euros per day because we do not participate in the distribution of illegal immigrants

The results of the national consultation are clear: the Hungarian people have sent a message that the future of Hungary must not be secured by mass immigration, but by further support of Hungarian families, stated the parliamentary state secretary of the Prime Minister's Cabinet Office in a video statement published on his Facebook page.

It is also clear from the results of the consultation: Hungarians consider it outrageous that Brussels is punishing our country with a penalty of one million euros per day because we do not participate in the distribution of illegal immigrants, Balázs Hidvéghi said.

According to 99 percent of the respondents, the Brussels punishment is outrageous and Hungary has the right to defend its independence and the interests of the Hungarian people, he added.

As he said, the government is constantly summarizing the results of the national consultation, and with more than 80 percent processed, the will of the Hungarian people is already clearly visible. In other words, instead of the migration forced by Brussels, we must base the future of our country on Hungarian families.

For years, he said, Brussels has wanted to deal with the population decline of European countries by forcing mass immigration. The Hungarian government, on the other hand, firmly rejects this; in their opinion, the future of Hungary should be based on Hungarian families - he emphasized.

99 percent of the respondents to the national consultation agree that, instead of mass immigration, Hungarian families should be supported even more and the family tax allowance should be doubled.

Furthermore, with the support of the people, the government continues to reject the punishment from Brussels and stands up for Hungary's independent decisions, he listed.

"The consultation will continue until Friday, December 20, and we are counting on your opinion. If you have not already done so, please complete the questionnaire on paper or online. Hungary can do it!" Balázs Hidvéghi said in the video statement.
