The parents of the Baja boy spoke about their child's alleged killer. If the man who took Tamás Till's life wrote a letter to them, they wouldn't even read it.
Tamás Till's parents are not interested in their son's killer. As is well known, after 24 years, the body of the boy, who had been missing since 2000, was found under the concrete of the outbuilding of a farm in Baja. The police suspect János F., now 40, of the murder.
The man admitted to committing the crime, but then changed his confession and now says he is innocent. The suspected perpetrator, who is currently under arrest, has not tried to contact the grieving parents until now, although he would do so in vain.
"If you haven't looked for us in the last 24 years, don't do it after this," said Mátyás, the boy's father.
After the confession, János F. was released from the police for the first time, because since he was not 18 years old at the time of the crime, his case could be time-barred. After that, however, he was brought in, because the Bács-Kiskun County Prosecutor's Office, citing the fact that classified cases of homicide do not have a statute of limitations, called on the investigating authority to produce and interrogate János F. Until the successful capture, the police published the man's face and full name on the Internet. The parents were also faced with this, that is, they saw the murderer of their child.
"It was a horrible feeling. This person is not a person for us," declared Katalin. When asked if they would read an apology letter from János F., the parents answered firmly:
"We wouldn't be interested in what you want to tell us." He doesn't deserve it. "Account to yourself and your family, if you can," concluded Mátyás.
