However, there is something else in his asset declaration.

The fortune of Ákos Hadházy, currently a non-party member of parliament from the left, has increased after his house in Szekszárd and his vineyard in Fácánkert last year,

in the election year, he bought a 30 square meter apartment in Vienna.

He owns half of the Austrian property.

The politician listed HUF 8.6 plus HUF 7.5 million as debt to credit institutions in his asset declaration , and four million to private individuals.

The left-wing politician indicated the fourth income category (this means the salary range between HUF 1-5 million), and also indicated that

how much money he collected as a donation from Hungarian individuals in 2022: this amount is HUF 16.8 million.

After the asset declarations were made public - not surprisingly - Hadházy nevertheless attacked Fidesz. He wrote on social media:

"Ouch! Based on the asset declarations, it looks like I'm richer than most MPs... Apparently it was more worthwhile to work as a vet for 18 years than to sit in parliament! I'm glad that Viktor Orbán finally managed to put some money aside! Once again, we can see that the asset declaration system is good for everything, except for curbing corruption."

"It seems like I'm richer" is an interesting phrase, especially when it comes to simple math. Because whoever collected 17 million was 17 million richer compared to the previous year.

However, Ákos Hadházy did not explain how his apparently lucrative current representation is related to his past veterinary activity.
