Firefighters can tell you how much trouble pyrotechnic devices, which cannot even be qualified in the least, can cause to the game.

New Year's Eve fireworks can now be sold at Hungarian retailers. However, the capital's 5th district municipality decided that fireworks are prohibited in the places most visited by tourists, and the municipality of Óbuda does not allow the use of pyrotechnic devices in public areas either.

The rules have not changed compared to previous years: on December 28, the sale and purchase of category 3 pyrotechnic devices could begin.

However, these devices can only be used from 6:00 p.m. on New Year's Eve until 6:00 a.m. on New Year's Day.

Anyone who uses category three pyrotechnic devices commits an offense before and after this.

There are settlements and metropolitan areas where the use of these pyrotechnic devices has been banned.

The city of Tata already banned New Year's Eve fireworks years ago citing environmental reasons, and this year the capital's 5th district municipality decided that in the places most frequently visited by tourists, such as Vörösmarty tér, Váci utca, in front of the Basilica, Szent István on the square it is forbidden to shout, but

The municipality of Óbuda also does not allow fireworks in public areas.

Presumably as a result of this, there are relatively few customers, for example, at the place selling pyrotechnic devices in the 3rd district.

Those who want to acquire these devices, on the other hand, spend very large sums, even tens of thousands, on New Year's Eve fireworks.

It is worth reminding that last year on New Year's Eve, 34 fires broke out due to fireworks, most of which were due to burning candles and trash cans and the firefighters were alerted to the burning remains of fireworks.
