His family was very scared, but now they can breathe a sigh of relief.

New news has arrived about Gyula Bodrogi: it has been more than a week that the country has been excited about him as a person. The actor, who was awarded the title of Actor of the Nation and won the Kossuth and Jászai Mari prizes twice, fell in a poorly lit staircase before Christmas, and the accident broke his femur.

This is what Gyula Bodrogi, who suffered an accident, wanted for Christmas

Neither he nor his family responded to the press inquiries for days, so it is a great relief for many that the country's Süsüje has now made news about himself, speaking with his usual calmness when asked about his well-being:

I fell, as usual, at such an old age

- joked the actor, who celebrated his 90th birthday last year, who cracked his femur in the fall, needed surgery immediately, and spent Christmas in the hospital.

- New Year's Eve has already arrived here, of course it was a bit spoiled because of that. But we don't make a big deal out of it. I follow what the doctors say with great sympathy, Professor Merkely seriously listens to me - revealed Gyula Bodrogi, referring to the director of Semmelweis University's Városmajor Heart and Vascular Clinic, who has long been responsible for the health of the National Actor.

"There is no joy in this current state, but you have to endure." If I'm in a bad mood, the pain is still the same. Why can't I be cheerful? Of course, my family was very scared, at that moment it looked very ugly, my legs didn't move. It took time for a person to put one foot off the bed, then the other, and then to take the first steps - listed Gyula Bodrogi, who also revealed that his partner, Angéla, supports him in everything, and that he will really need help to walk for a while.

"I got a walking frame, I can walk with it now." In time, I will be able to change it to crutches, but it might take weeks... For my part, I will do everything for recovery, I want to go on stage as soon as possible - added Gyula Bodrogi with a smile, who also testified about his New Year's resolution:

"For years, I've been making the same promise: that I won't promise anything!"
