The number of recovered people is constantly increasing, currently 356,679 people, but the number of active infected people has also risen to 155,217 people. 9,844 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, of which 1,067 are on ventilators. The vaccination program is going smoothly and according to schedule, Hungary is already second in the EU vaccination ranking list. Due to their vulnerability, the registered elderly are still in the queue for vaccination.
Vaccination is the only way out of the epidemic. Since the start of the third wave, the number of registered people has increased by another million, but there are still many who have not registered.
