Many people are with science like Lehel's horn, it's good to hear from afar. In this way, the inventions and initiatives that won worldwide acclaim do not receive much publicity.

Puli's time capsule goes to the moon. The title piqued my interest just because I had already heard of a Hungarian company called Puli. Well, it turned out that the company Puli Space Technologies has existed since 2010 and is working on the development of light, cheap lunar rovers and other devices that are functional and can be used even in the extreme lunar environment. Such was, for example, the development of the lunar water sniffer, which last year won the first prize in the lunar resources category at the competition of the American space agency.

Perhaps it is also due to this success that the NASA award-winning Puli Space time capsule can reach the Moon as the first Hungarian payload at the end of 2021 on the Peregrine lunar probe. The Space-Time Plaque will travel together with the NASA instruments, which will preserve the imprint of the collective memory of Hungarians. The director of the company said about this on the Gondola.hu portal:

"We collect memories, stories, and accomplishments that we collectively believe are worthy of enriching the image that the 21st century has, even millennia from now. The readers and researchers of that time will see about Hungary in the 20th century."

And for this, they are waiting for ideas from companies, civil organizations and private individuals until the end of March.
