According to plans, the international premiere of Ferenc Tolvaly's documentary entitled Camino Ignaciano - St. Ignatius' Road - Camino Ignaciano will be held in Rome in May; the film follows the inner soul journey of four young pilgrims.

The Hungarian premiere of the pilgrimage film Camino Ignaciano, made from a script written by director Ferenc Tolvaly Zsuzsa Balázs The novel on which the story is based will also be published at the same time as the documentary. The 90-minute documentary, filmed at historical sites in Spain, shows in a personal tone how a pilgrimage becomes a life-changing journey. The spiritual practice of the four young pilgrims featured in the film is accompanied on the road by a Spanish Jesuit spiritual leader - José Luis Iriberri SJ .

The pilgrims are following in the footsteps of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuit order, who turned from a popularity-seeking soldier into a spiritual leader, and who 500 years ago was the first to walk the 640-kilometer journey from Loyola to Manresa, now known as the Camino Ignaciano .

The film was made with the support of the National Film Institute, produced by Cameofilm Studio Attila Csáky , and with the support of the Hungarian Order of the Society of Jesus. The information sheet quotes the director Ferenc Tolvaly, who said: they returned to Budapest with 52 hours of filmed material. As he said, before every shoot, he prepares an exact script and draws the key scenes. According to Ferenc Tolvaly, during the filming, "We created conditions for the actors during the filming that enabled them to get the most out of their experiences and to get closer to their goal: themselves"
