Prime Minister Viktor Orbán reported today's decision of the operative group on Kossut Rádio this morning.
According to them, the restrictions in force will continue to exist . All of this is justified by the fact that the specialist stated that it is impossible to relax, since according to the latest data, 213 people have died, more than nine thousand people are in hospital and 1,174 of those who needed ventilators. Regarding the hospital capacities, the Prime Minister said that there are still more than 10,000 free beds.
Viktor Orbán also mentioned that by increasing the number of vaccinations it is possible to relax the restrictions . They calculate that if 4-5 times more people receive the vaccine than there are infected, the relaxation may begin. He added that after the consultation on the restart is completed, the operational staff will start preparing the plan.
