Local communities can also apply to renew their wall surfaces

A national tender is being launched for the renewal of wall surfaces, kindergartens, schools, municipalities and local communities can apply until May 7 to redecorate their environment, with both outdoor and indoor wall surfaces - the Let's Color Landscaping Association informed our newspaper.

For the tenth time this year, the tender of the Let's Color Town Beautification Association will be announced, through which it is possible to win enough paint to paint 800 square meters of outdoor or indoor wall surfaces. The association's popular application was canceled last year due to the epidemic situation, but this year applicants are welcome again with creative project ideas. Since the painting will be carried out during the summer, with the expected improvement of the epidemic situation, the communities will be able to slowly return to their usual environment, the announcement reads.

As they say, any community or social grouping can start the project of the Let's Color Association. Applications are expected again this year in two categories, settlements with less than 10,000 inhabitants and settlements with more than 10,000 inhabitants compete separately. The association provides the paint, graphic designs, work coordination, and expert support to the winners, and the action is carried out jointly by volunteers from the communities.

If the restrictions are still in effect during the summer months, the organizing team will draw the planned pattern in advance, which can later be painted by the applicant's volunteers in the authorized number of staff. The entry condition is that the outdoor or indoor wall surface to be painted must be provided by the applicant. The special interest of the project is that due to the indoor paints used in the campaign, the walls themselves can be disinfected, so the winners can get not only a nicer, but also a more hygienic environment.

Applications can be uploaded to the www.letscolour.hu . The finalist applications are evaluated by the professional jury, regardless of the number of previously obtained votes, and the winners of each category are announced. The painting must be done by the end of August at the latest, the summary states.
