I'm going to spread horror news in the following lines, because I'm terrified by everything I've heard and experienced in a few small towns in the highlands in the past few days - wrote Sándor Pap, the chairman of the MKP's national strategy committee.

The essence of the story is that two registers of the census coordinators of the village offices were washed, kneaded and scrambled by the statistical office. One of the registers is naturally the local office's register of citizens with permanent or temporary residence, while the other is an " evidenza fischichich osob ", i.e. a register of natural persons, which is kept somewhere by the state, and which it has now taken out in order to "facilitate" the census of peoples.

These two sets of data became a whole, which in turn causes a scandalous situation in many places. The state lists contain quite a few people (or their birth numbers) who are 105, 110 years old, but the record holder so far is a 117-year-old "living dead" soul!

According to the author's experience, such non-existent (actually deceased) persons are approx. They make up 7-15 percent of the population register compiled in the above way.

The village coordinators are at a loss, because they do not know what to do with this situation, but they cannot raise their voice publicly, since the state has prevented this with such and such confidentiality and other legal obligations. The grave silence around the problem is terrifying.

For the sake of the Hungarian population, "keeping the 20 percent ratio would be vitally important because of our rights under the law. This condition is equally important in the case of maintaining the psychological limit of 50 percent," says the president.

In the event that this "ghost population" remains in the register, it will be impossible to expect real, true results from the statistical office.
