Over the weekend, the Vox Mirabilis Chamber Choir of Székesfehérvár gave a concert in the churches of the highland settlements. In the sacred space, choral works of church music were played.

Katica Zemlényi , the conductor of the choir, said in her welcome at the concert held in the Roman Catholic church in Ipolyság on March 12

The concert began with works about the Hungarian homeland. In this regard, the choir director explained:

"We are very happy that you are here, that you have kept your Hungarian identity. We are grateful for that!"

In the future, reflecting on the world around us and the situation of our communities, peace and the desire for it came into focus.

As he said in one of the connecting texts: music is good if, in addition to the joy of the audience, it also speaks to God. " The members of the Vox Mirabilis Chamber Choir are committed to church music," he stated. As he added: at the same time, secular pieces of music that fit into the sacred space are also included in the repertoire.

In addition to strengthening the soul, the concert following the Saturday Mass also brought the audience the tranquility of our weekdays full of twists and turns.

On Sunday morning, they held their concert in honor of the János Esterházy memorial year in the Catholic church in Ipolybalog.

Today, the Vox Mirabilis Chamber Choir is one of the most active and creative ensembles in Hungary. Apart from the motherland, the choir is known in the Carpathian basin and throughout Europe. Returning guests also along the Ipoly.

They also organize countless concerts, choir meetings and professional programs, and have also had individual concert passes for many years.

The chamber choir holds the highest musical qualification, the Ars Magna. Katica Zemlényi, conductor of our choir, won the title of Knight of Hungarian Culture.
