The number of those who will receive the vaccine may reach six million, since together with those already vaccinated, this is the total number of people who plan to administer the vaccine in Hungary - according to the national representative research conducted by the Nézőpont Intézet for the Hungarian Nation.

More than half of Hungarians do not agree with the opinion of left-wing politicians that they should have waited for the European Union's permission after the Hungarian authorities before using the Chinese and Russian vaccines. Compared to the previous week, the willingness to get vaccinated continued to rise, so that 6 million of our compatriots, three quarters of the adult population (75 percent) are in favor of vaccination. Based on these, a rapid increase in vaccination registration is expected in the near future. Compared to last week, the willingness of those critical of the prime minister to vaccinate has increased, but it is still lower than the national average (only 66 percent). On the other hand, a consistently high proportion of those who sympathize with the prime minister are pro-vaccination (80 percent).

In the past, left-wing politicians initiated the idea that Chinese and Russian vaccines approved by the Hungarian authorities could not be used in Hungary until they received permission from the European Union. The majority of Hungarians (53 percent) rather disagree with this step. They believed that after the authorization of the Hungarian authorities, they should also be vaccinated with the Chinese and Russian vaccines. Only a third of the adult population (33 percent) thought that it would have been better to wait for the European Union's permission in connection with the Chinese and Russian vaccines. It is interesting that even a third of critics of the prime minister (35 percent) agreed with the government's pro-vaccination position on this issue. One year before next year's parliamentary elections, it is also worth noting that even among those with unknown preferences, almost twice as many people supported the government's pro-vaccination decision on this issue (38 percent) than the left's position against vaccination with Eastern vaccines (22 percent). .

...Only 13 percent of Hungarians said that if the left were in government, they would have handled the coronavirus epidemic better than the current government. Even among potential left-wing voters who are critical of the prime minister, only 27 percent, and only 5 percent of voters with an unknown party preference, think that the coronavirus crisis would have been better handled by the left.
