Announcement from the management of CÖF-CÖKA:
Dear Spiritual Patriots, Supporting Civil Associations and Foundations, Partners! Our friends!
CÖF-CÖKA has embraced numerous requests to organize a Peace March, and on October 23, 2021, on our national holiday, it is once again organizing a peaceful, quiet and dignified event of hundreds of thousands. We will remember the reprisals of the communist regime in 1956, the execution of 235 innocent young civilians, and the expulsion of two hundred thousand Hungarians from their homeland.
We want to remind you of the state terror in Gyurcsány on October 23, 2006, when the peaceful crowd leaving the celebration was attacked by cavalry, shot with rubber bullets, water cannons, bones were broken, and vipers were attacked. As in 1956, blood flowed on the streets of Pest.
With the sign "Never again" we protest against the return of the intellectual heirs of the oppressive Bolshevik-Communist regimes. We are sending a message to Brussels, freed from the Soviet empire, our task is to preserve our independence, we do not wish to be the servants of a one-party superstate. At the same time, we participate with full dedication, as an equal state, in shaping the future of the Union.
Dear Compatriots!
Europe is now writing its modern history. It does not matter how and with what efficiency we can represent our destiny issues in the Union community. The Peace March is about protecting the Judeo-Christian civilization, our sovereignty, and protecting the values of our constitution.
Remembering the results of our First Peace March in 2012, let us repeat and show the unchanged unity of our civil community. Our independence is a treasure handed down to our children and grandchildren. We must protect the peace of our families so that the imperial system of the oppressors can "never return" and every Hungarian citizen knows that "Home comes first".
