It seems more and more that the government is successfully dealing with the epidemic, slowly, gradually, but surely and within a foreseeable time we will get back the "liberties" that the pandemic took from us. The left will be more and more forced to realize that the government's strategies are being revealed more and more and are failing.

This week, socialist MEP István Ujhelyi tried to hinder Hungary again before the fateful Orbán-Von der Leyen meeting with the head of the European Commission. This is what he writes in his Facebook post: "Orbán will obviously lie about the circumstances and content of the preparation of the national reform plan in Brussels; that is why he is sending an official note to the President of the European Commission and his officials on the matter."

According to Fidesz EP representative Enikő Győri: Socialist MEP István Ujhelyi - citing the worst historical times - reported Hungary in a letter to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, on the eve of Viktor Orbán's talks in Brussels. It was not a problem for him that his slanders lacked any basis in reality," he writes in his statement.

We are talking about a plan here, the purpose of which is to enable the government to create the most favorable conditions for reconstruction after the crisis caused by the COVID epidemic. An important tool for this is the national recovery plan on the use of EU recovery funds, through which the country can draw down almost HUF 6,000 billion.

"Our country will submit the final national recovery plan in compliance with all existing rules and requirements, including Hungary's preparation for the green and digital transition." – According to Enikő Győri . They tried to involve the decision-makers of cities with county rights, county assemblies, universities, and other institutions in the planning, but typically some of the leaders of the opposition-led settlements did not even respond to the call, which is a serious irresponsibility. Now Ujhelyi is trying to prove, among other untrue statements, that there is no extensive consultation on this issue.

When we sit down on the terraces after a long time to drink coffee, or to raise a glass of delicious beer, to enjoy each other's company, we don't even think about how big a loss we end up with. How much it cost and is costing to maintain the functioning of the country, overcome the restrictions caused by the epidemic and take back or rather rebuild our freedom. For all this, it is essential not only for us, but for all EU member states to provide adequate financial resources from the common European coffers.

The pace of this rebuilding will largely depend on how quickly we can move to mobilize the necessary support. The problem is that here at home the opposition does everything in its power to prevent broad-based consultation, while in Brussels it complains about the lack of this.

Again, there is no national minimum on such an important issue. Because the opposition, on the basis of the worse, the better, than on any other level - see anti-vaccination, campaign against Eastern vaccines, etc. - tries to cross here as well.

But in the meantime, the Prime Minister and the President of the EC held a very constructive negotiation, the essence of which is that the financial resources will be secured to restart the economy. – Minister Gergely Gulyás informed about this yesterday, which we reported here

Of course, caution doesn't hurt now either! One of the reasons for this is the presence of the pandemic, and the other is the machinations of the malicious and withdrawn opposition!
