There is already an agreement with Serbia and Montenegro on the mutual recognition of protection cards, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade announced on his Facebook page on Thursday.
Péter Szijjártó wrote in his post that "if everything goes well", it will soon be possible to say that 4 million Hungarians have already been vaccinated and thus protected from the epidemic.
We can therefore take another step in the direction of normality, which will allow us to agree with some countries on quarantine- and test-free travel for our citizens
he highlighted.
He wrote: Serbian Nikola Selakovic and Montenegrin Foreign Minister Djordje Radulovic agreed on Thursday that their countries' vaccination certificates will be mutually recognized. Thus, from Friday, the vaccinated can travel freely between Hungary and Serbia, as well as between Hungary and Montenegro. Negotiations have started with Greece and Israel on all of this, said Péter Szijjártó.
