"If you don't study, you can go to work!" This is how worried parents threatened their children not so long ago. According to the signs, vocational training is no longer a threat, but an opportunity.
The Education Office has published which secondary institutions the young people have applied to. The data shows that the vast majority no longer want to go to high school, since 40.99 percent (35,486 children) go to technical school, 20.46 percent (17,715 people) to vocational school, and 1.25 percent (1,079 students) to vocational school. And this indicates that it is no longer a shame, on the contrary, acquiring a vocational qualification means a secure future.
High schools will notify students of the acceptance or rejection of their application by April 30; this is the end of the general stage of the secondary admission procedure.
For those who may not have been admitted to a secondary school in the general admissions procedure, extraordinary admissions will begin on May 10, 2021. On the website of the Office of Education, the search program providing information on the vacancies announced by the institutions in the special admission procedure is now available. The affected 4,154 students (4.58% of those participating in the general procedure) can apply for the extraordinary admission directly in secondary schools.
The admission information is here , and the search program that helps with extraordinary admissions is available here
