The Rust Belt Committee was established, the Prime Minister's Office told MTI yesterday.
It is known that the government previously decided to prioritize the development of unused or underutilized former industrial and economic areas that are in poor physical condition and burdened with environmental pollution.
They are waiting for proposals as to which properties in a dilapidated state, previously used for industrial or other economic purposes, will be included in the government program to help rehabilitate the affected areas and neighborhoods.
As written, the committee will comment on the designation of the so-called rust zone action areas, , the Rust Zone Committee will form its opinion
