106 people died, most of them elderly, chronically ill, and another 1,219 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus - koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Monday, highlighting that 4,073,149 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, of which 2,077,160 have already received the second they also received a dose of vaccine.
It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 784,111. The number of those who died rose to 27,908, and those who recovered rose to 528,201.
The number of active infected people is 228,002. 4,872 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, of which 572 are on ventilators.
There are 27,386 people under official home quarantine, and the number of samples has increased to 5,429,737.
