1956 and 2006 teach the same thing: the country should not be led by those who destroyed it economically and morally, those who oppose the church, those who constantly lie, and those who can attack the Hungarian people should not lead the country, said the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Affairs (KKM) for information and The State Secretary responsible for the international presentation of Hungary on Friday in Budaörs.

At the commemoration held in the garden of the Parish Church of St. John of Nepomuk in Budaörs on the occasion of the anniversary of the 1956 revolution and freedom struggle, Tamás Menczer spoke about the fact that there is no such great and powerful power that can overcome the Hungarians' desire for freedom. The 56ers said that enough of the oppression, we want to decide about our own country, our country and our lives again and we don't want others to tell us how we should live. Home is only as long as there are those who love it, added the state secretary. He spoke about the fact that in 1956 they set an example for us out of patriotism, but only in 1990 was Hungary able to free itself from the oppressors, and in 2010 the Orbán government began the country-building and nation-unifying work. We must remember that before 2010 there was a government that did exactly the same thing that the communists did before the regime change: they destroyed the country economically and morally, pursued anti-church and anti-national policies, and constantly lied to the Hungarian people, he emphasized.

Tamás Menczer recalled: when the people had had enough of the Gyurcsány government, the prime minister said that it was possible to leave here. His biggest problem with this statement is that Hungary is not his temporary station, but his homeland. The communist, globalist and internationalist view is that you can leave anywhere at any time without heartache, since communists, globalists and internationalists consider their current position as a temporary station, he said. The State Secretary of the KKM said that when the Hungarian people had had enough in 2006, the prime minister attacked the Hungarian people, similar to the previous communist regime. On October 23, 2006, 3,658 tear gas grenades and rubber bullets were fired, 130 people were injured, 39 percent of the injuries were head injuries, 11 percent were neck injuries; There were 14 eye injuries, four of which were permanent, and one man, one of whose eyes was already bad and his good eye was shot out, chose suicide, Tamás Menczer added.
