137, mostly elderly, chronic patients died, bringing the number of victims to 28,045. The number of recovered people is constantly increasing, currently 532,990 people, and the number of actively infected people has decreased to 223,802 people.
Vaccination is ongoing, the number of vaccinated people is 4,099,495, of which 2,157,637 have already received their second vaccination. More than 4.7 million people have already registered for vaccination and 80 percent of them received it. Those registered who are still waiting for vaccination can also book a vaccination in the online appointment booking system.
After the number of people vaccinated exceeded 4 million, a new stage of the restart came into effect on Saturday. As you know, the curfew has been changed to midnight and many services can now be used with a protection card. Even 16-18-year-olds can be registered for vaccination, and from today foreigners living in Hungary can also register.
