The Association of Christian Intellectuals draws attention to the importance of personal responsibility associated with easing restrictions. He asks everyone to help fight the epidemic by getting vaccinated.

We have been looking forward to returning to our previous lives, which is given new hope by the gradual lifting of restrictions. We must not forget that openness does not mean unlimited freedom. The danger of the epidemic has not ended, so we must observe the protection rules in parallel with the relaxation. Because of irresponsibly lived freedom, we can relive weeks of illness or forced rest, but at the same time, we also endanger our loved ones and friends whom we have not seen for a long time.

Those who have already received the vaccine consciously prepared to protect themselves and their environment. But the virus is still with us, and many people are still not protected against it. Our children who have not yet been vaccinated are in particular great danger, for whom not only the parents, but also the teachers and the employees of the institutions are responsible, just as responsible behavior towards each other is expected within every workplace community.

Unfortunately, many people still refuse the vaccine, they do not see their role in the spread of the virus and the vaccine gave them a chance to overcome the epidemic as soon as possible. We are therefore doubly responsible for our neighbors: are we able to handle the freedom given by relaxing with care, and on the other hand, are we contributing to defeating the epidemic by getting vaccinated?

Let's protect each other and our children, don't let us get carried away by the excitement of the opening! Help everyone fight the epidemic by vaccinating!
