 The TV film Hungarian Golgotha ​​(English title: Darking Way) won the best film award at the Canadian Cinematography Awards international festival, which was produced by Mythberg Films, directed by Zsolt Pozsgai, in cooperation with the Arad Chamber Theater and with the support of the Hungarian National Film Institute.

The Hungarian Golgotha ​​was filmed in February this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, not at the original location in Arad, but in and around one of the recently renovated castles in Transdanubia, in Nádasladány.
The film Zsolt Pozsgai, winner of the Béla Balázs Prize, commemorates the Arad martyr Ignác Török, and through the fate of the Arad martyr, presents the bloody retribution of the Hungarian revolution and freedom struggle of 1848-49, the dawn of the execution of the 13 generals. Magyar Golgotha ​​follows Ignác Török's last night, full of twists and turns, which led to the death of the army general sentenced to death by Haynau just before hanging.
Two other international screenings, the Oniros Film Awards in New York and the Hollywood Venus Awards in Los Angeles, made the work a finalist, the results are expected in June.
The film was invited to several international festivals scheduled for autumn. The theater performance of the same name, which is the basis of the award-winning film, was presented by the Aradi Chamber Theater in 2018, also directed by Zsolt Pozsgai, who is also the author of the drama.
According to the plans, the premiere of the TV movie will be held in Arad on October 5, reads the announcement of the Arad Chamber Theatre.
