The area of ​​the planned dormitories in the Diákváros investment has increased significantly, wrote Világgazdaság on Tuesday .

The student accommodation can be built on 17.6 hectares and would provide modern accommodation for more than ten thousand students - wrote the paper uploaded to the government's website, written by the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) and Minister László Palkovics, who is also the government commissioner responsible for the implementation of Budapest Student City based on presentation.

According to previous ideas, the dormitories would have had 16.2 hectares together with the community spaces, the modified concept would create Fudan University and the community spaces together on 22.2 hectares. The change is the result of the dormitories and Fudan University swapping places in the South City Gate project.
