According to the program sent to MTI by the State Secretariat responsible for international communication and relations of the Prime Minister's Cabinet Office, the outdoor photo exhibition will open at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 4, in Budapest, at the Parliament, at the memorial site of unity. It was recalled: on April 28, the State Secretariat for National Policy announced a photo contest entitled "Hungarian eyes" for Hungarians living in the Carpathian Basin, the motherland and the diaspora.
The jury consisting of photographer Tamás Rizsavi, photojournalist Tamás Páczai and photographer Benjámin Hegyi had to select the winners from more than 10,000 images. The exhibition of around 100 photos will be open for viewing between June 4 and 6.
On Friday, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., the Holy Crown will be available for free viewing in the Parliament. In addition to the current epidemiological regulations, this will only be possible with a protection certificate.
The ceremonial performance begins at 6:00 p.m. in the National Theater , during which Reformed bishop Zoltán Balog, the pastor president of the Synod of the Hungarian Reformed Church, will give a ceremonial speech. Zoltán Balog's speech will be broadcast live on the M5 television channel.
They highlighted: last year, on the 100th anniversary of the Trianon Peace Treaty, the "Fire of Our Togetherness" program was announced; Municipalities, institutions, civil organizations, and private individuals undertook to light 6,137 fires from 2,551 settlements in 73 countries.
